Over 2000 Downloads of the Beach House WordPress Theme

563-medium.jpgWOW! I had checked the last part of last week to see how many downloads the Beach House WordPress Theme had gotten and it was at 1991.

I checked back today it it blew past the 2000 download mark. At writing it is at 2093.

I just wanted to say thank you to everyone that has download it and is using it. I plan to add widget support in the near future one my plate clears a little.

Also, if you like the Beach House theme and know PhotoShop check out my Sunflower WordPress Theme which is based off of the Beach House theme. The thing about the Sunflower theme is that I have made the PhotoShop files available so that you can customize it for you blog.

    Hi,

    I just installed it and just like the demo page this theme doesn’t show up the search bar on the homepage.

    I wondered that no one else has “complained” about it yet. I am not php savvy, I only know that in my wp-admin panel searchbar.php is there and it’s also integrated into the main index page.

    There seems to be a glitch. Maybe you could look into it.

    The search bar is not there on purpose – this is by design as this was designed for a site that did not need it. The next version will have widget support so the search bar will be an option.

    The contact page does work. It is also by design that after you hit the submit button the image does appear. You would not believe how much spam that circumvents.

    I have tried both of your themes, I really like the Beach house one. Yet when I load it into my wordpress the header graphic doesn’t show up.

    The sunflower theme did this as well.

    What version of WordPress are you using?
