After about 6-9 months of going back and forth about what this blog was going to be about I have finally come up with a category that I feel can bring this blog back to life again. That theme is making money from blogging – for the small guy.
See most blogging for money blogs out there concentrate on making “big money” from all of the these different types of methods and what not. I have tried most of them and have settled on a few that just plain work. I started a year ago with the idea that I wanted to make money from blogging so that I could have some cash in my pocket. A year later I am making almost $400/month which is quite nice. With that money I have bought myself a lot of toys, oh, and my family some stuff too 😉 .
So for the next month or so I am going to be dropping the knowledge that I have acquired that has gotten me to this point. From there I will post about what I am learning along the way and we can grow together.

- Are my methods guaranteed? NO
- Are you going to be able to retire early from my advise and live on a small island? Not unless you can retire on a couple hundred dollars a month
- Are you trying to sell me anything? No, not really/directly. I may have some ads on this blog and my others that if you click on them I make money, but no I am not selling/trying to sell you anything
- Why are you doing this? Because I am a husband and a father with a single income and I know what a couple hundred dollars a month can do for you family. For us it gives us that little bit of extra money to buy things for the kids and the occasional things that we want.
- Has anybody followed your advise and have it work? Well me first of all and second my wife is going through it right now. And yes, it is starting to work for her.
